Dr. Tim graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney in 2011. He is married to his beautiful wife, Kate. Together they have 3 gorgeous girls and one (male!) dog. He has completed postgraduate studies in paediatrics, biomechanical assessment and philosophy. In 2015, he was inducted into the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophy. He has been invited to speak in front of his peers in Sydney, Melbourne and Fiji.

What is a Structural Shift?
While no-one is structurally perfect, there is a normal healthy range.
In the same manner, we can understand what a fever is because we know what the normal temperature is, or what constitutes high blood pressure because we are aware of the normal range.
There are established norms everywhere we look, including gauges and warning lights on the dash board of your car, letting you know when things are abnormal.
At Genius Chiropractic, we are looking for a significant, three dimensional shift of the spine, away from normal. If the head and neck shift in three directions, it will cause the shoulders to twist and the hips to shift, forcing the entire spine out of alignment.
These Shifts cause the muscles to spasm, the ligaments to deform and disrupts NERVES travelling down the spinal cord. In other words, the main communication system that connects your brain to your body can be disrupted, something that our chiropractor in Newcastle, trained in neurostructural care, aims to correct.
