Genius Chiropractic first opened its doors in Kotara, 2018 by Dr. Tim Linklater and his wife Kate.

Our purpose at Genius Chiropractic is to provide a comprehensive solution to resolve problems related to Neuro-Structural abnormalities in the spine and nerve system, to allow your body to work at its highest capacity.

Rather than constantly repairing damage, at Genius Chiropractic, we focus on addressing the underlying Neuro-Structural Shifts, thereby helping you reach Normal Structure and Neurologic function.

Not Your Traditional Chiropractor

At Genius Chiropractic, our focus is on Neuro-Structural Correction.

Think of your spine as the foundation for a building. If the foundation was off, would you expect the floors to creak, the walls to crack and for the windows to not close properly?

Now, you can spend time patching all those issues and damage, but you would do so with the expectation that in a short amount of time, the problems will have to be…repaired again and again.

Neuro-Structural Chiropractic and Correction looks for the underlying Structural Shifts in the spine that might be causing your foundation to be off.

In the vast majority of cases that make their way to our practice, often as referrals from other Chiropractors or medical doctors in the area, is a significant Structural Shift.  These Shifts are the underlying cause that often reveal themselves as ‘symptoms’, or again, what we refer to as Secondary Conditions.

It’s the long-term solution that can allow you to lead a healthy and happy life.

What is a Structural Shift?

While no-one is structurally perfect, there is a normal healthy range.

In the same manner, we can understand what a fever is because we know what the normal temperature is, or what constitutes high blood pressure because we are aware of the normal range.

There are established norms everywhere we look, including gauges and warning lights on the dash board of your car, letting you know when things are abnormal.

At Genius Chiropractic, we are looking for a significant, three dimensional shift of the spine, away from normal. If the head and neck shift in three directions, it will cause the shoulders to twist and the hips to shift, forcing the entire spine out of alignment.

These Shifts cause the muscles to spasm, the ligaments to deform and disrupts NERVES travelling down the spinal cord.  In other words, the main communication system that connects your brain to your body can be disrupted.

Most of our practice members are referred to us by other patients, their medical doctor, or their current, traditional Chiropractor.  The reason that our practice is built on referrals is because of simplicity and transparency.

You can get started in three easy steps:

1. Schedule a Complimentary Consultation: These consultations are completely obligation-free. It’s a conversation, not a commitment. You’ll have the chance to speak with our Chiropractor, Dr. Tim to better understand more about what we do here at Genius Chiropractic and how we could help you.

2. If you like what you hear, schedule a Neuro-Structural Examination: This is where we specifically the stability of your spine, checking for any Structural Shift that could be causing your symptoms. The examination can take up to 30 minutes and can be scheduled at a time of your choosing.

3. After the examination, we will schedule a conference where we will review your results and treatment options.
